This handgun features the Taurus Modular System, a serialized modular chassis that enables end users to quickly swap frame sizes between the full size, compact, and subcompact. An ambidextrous slide release pairs with the reversible magazine catch, accommodating both left- and right-handed shooters. The Taurus TX9 uses industry standard dovetails for its iron sights, readily accepting many aftermarket options. The Taurus TX9 is also optics-ready right out of the box, utilizing the existing Taurus T.O.R.O. system. The full-size Taurus TX9 has a 4.5 inch barrel and 17+1 capacity. Four interchangeable backstraps enable additional customization, so shooters can properly fit the gun to their hands.
